This was a fun one. I’ve never done a hockey helmet before. The hardest part was creating a template that took into account the stretch necessary to curve around the front of the helmet and that let me create a design that would mesh in the middle.
Here’s the latest branding project for the amazing group of people at @jackedjilled in South Portland. This is digitally printed window perf to provide for a bit of privacy without completely separating the two rooms from each other.
I love doing installs here because the environment is very energetic and Brandon loves to utilize their brand elements in creative ways. It really helps make the space feel more immersive.
I just wanted to share some detail shots of a recent install using Avery matte charcoal. Nothing was removed. Just a little patience. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast - or something like that.
This vehicle is a great example of why vector artwork is critical in the early design stages of fleet and branding work.
When this graphic was designed, all of the trucks were 4 door refrigerated boxes. Then this 5 door showed up, adding almost 5 feet of additional space to the ‘canvas’. If this had been done in photoshop or a similar ‘raster’ program this transition would not have been as smooth.
Vector graphics give you indefinite flexibility. It may add to the design time required but the extra effort is worth it in the long run.
Here’s a little walk around of a hood we wrapped in 3m Deep Black on a 2020 dodge Durango. Like I mentioned in the video the purpose was to help minimize the visibility of some hail damage the vehicle took a summer or two ago.
Some large lettering and stripes for the guys at Diamond Electric!
This one was a challenge to design a layout for as a key objective to this was to hide some job site scratches on the passenger side. The bed striping was measured on the truck and done by hand with knifeless tape to ensure a consistent visual width from front to back and over body contours.
With the nice weather starting to show I’ve been able to knock off some outside only work. I started Friday morning off with the graphics I drew for this Mako center console “Part Time Hooker”.
There’s some more graphics in the works for this one so stay tuned.
Installed these sharp looking floating sign holders above the water fountain at @impactfitness.biddeford today. This will serve as a great area to highlight personal trainers, services and events for the community.
These holders are easy to change and update with a standard 8.5”x11”. Allowing weekly or even daily flexibility in an easy to change fashion.
Sometimes I can’t escape the sign guy life. But I’m always happy to help people broadcast their message!
Here’s a 3/4 wrap I completed this week for Diamond Electric.
You don’t need to wrap an entire vehicle to be an effective marketing tool. 3/4 wraps are a great option to stylize your vehicle and market your brand.
Here’s a full custom designed and printed wrap I did last week on a Subaru Ascent.
This is my dads vehicle (notice the badging in the lower side skirt). He really wanted something unique and something that no one else would have or could order off the shelf. I had a wild multi color polygon wrap a few years ago on my shop car and he always loved that look so we let that be our inspiration.
